In 2012, the Arctic Row team successfully collected samples for two ASC research projects.  Plankton samples collected from the Arctic provide a unique opportunity for Dr. Hopcroft to learn about these indicators for climate change a fraction of the cost.  Dr. Julie Hagelin from Univ. of Alaska – Fairbanks also benefited from this project through the groups numerous observations related to whale scent and migration.
