Glider Pilots Needed : Glider Pilots, Mountaineers as well!
Glider pilots have already reached altitudes of 60k feet in the Andes flying on these mountain waves and smaller thermals. NCAR researcher Beth Holland would like pilots to collect temperature, humidity, and more on their flight recorders. We can also have mountaineers collect readings for us from high altitude. The weight of the instrumentation is that of an ipad at the most.
