The change of the seasons is coming, and the flight of the sandhill cranes is an exciting indicator. Walking our weekly transects, we have heard their harmonizing honk—a rolling bugle sometimes miles away. The migration of thousands of sandhill cranes keep the Landmark crew looking overhead as the October chill sets in.
