We are currently accepting adventurer applications for the following projects:
ASC has partnered with American Prairie Reserve (APR) on a groundbreaking project to provide boots-on-the-ground support for APR managers. The project, called Landmark, recruits able-bodied adventurers from around the world to participate in what National Geographic has called “one of the most ambitious conservation efforts in American history.” Landmark crew members will spend month-long stints on the reserve participating in all aspects of wildlife conservation research on foot, ski and bike having a unique opportunity to experience one of the wildest and most remote places in the lower 48 while contributing to important conservation work.
Worldwide Roadkill ObservationsASC is recruiting people to help understand where wildlife live and the threats they face from (mostly) human activities. Our project collects observations of wildlife along roads (and off them too) so that we can understand where they live and are moving to.

ASC is recruiting a flotilla of adventure scientists in coastal areas around the world to study marine microplastic pollution. Microplastics weather from larger marine plastic debris (drink bottles, commercial fishing gear, shopping bags), are laundered from clothing, and are even contained in many common cosmetics. Microplastic particles are ingested by marine life and can migrate up the food chain to larger fish, birds and mammals. There is a need to better understand the source, composition and distribution of this pollution.
